Fires Rage At Unprecedented Rate In Amazon Rainforest

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro said his government lacks the resources to fight all the wildfires in the Amazon rainforest. In the last seven days more than 9,500 fires have burned through Brazil’s dense rainforest, and activists claim most of them have been set by men working in the jungle, clearing land for cattle and logging.
